Re: A dictionary-worthy discussion: should "fish tank" be a single word?
I'm loving the idea of fishtank as a verb and adjective. "I'm off to do some fishtanking" has a certain ring to it, or how about "he fishtanked that presentation with style". The possibilities are endless, and I think we could really make fishtankering a thing.

Re: Coloration concerns in corals
Here are the pics of the lobos. I moved the Mycedium to the other tank, but they were literally right next to each other in the same spot. The lobos are still flesh-colored, very full and fluffy - no skeleton poking through.

Coloration concerns in corals
I've had a lobo colony going strong for months, but lately I've noticed the top edges are getting white. Too much light, maybe, or some sort of chemical imbalance? Also, my Mycedium - it's been in the tank for 4 months, doing great, but recently it's started turning brown. Like, solid brown. Not ...

Re: Dojo loaches information and care
I've had dojo loaches in the past, and I've found they definitely prefer cooler water, but they can adapt to pretty much any temperature. As for keeping them in numbers, I think it's best to keep them in groups - they seem to do well with some company.

Re: Does anyone else have experience with african water lettuce?
In my experience, I've noticed water lettuce tends to have some minor flaws - like slight variations in color or the occasional dead tip on the leaves.

Re: Does anyone else have experience with african water lettuce?
I've got water lettuce in a couple of my outdoor tanks, and I've gotta say, it's a fantastic addition. I've got around 7 different species in each one, and water lettuce always stands out - it's way more attractive than some of the other plants I've got, especially when paired with darker greens ...
