Mine's got a similar thing going on, the dorsal fin's all serrated at the front and the lower fin's got the same deal at the back, looks like he's trying to show off when I'm feeding him, I reckon he's just trying to look the part, like he's trying to be a big fish or something.

If we're talking about marine tanks, the cycle time can vary quite a bit, but generally it's anywhere from 1-4 weeks, depending on the condition of the live rock when it was introduced.

Sometimes corals just decline without any obvious reason, but I don't think that's the case with yours yet, especially since you said it's doing well. Eating habits are a good indicator - is it taking in food? If it is, that's a positive sign.

Too much nutrient load can also cause browning, but I think your other thriving Favia suggests that's not the issue here. Favias are pretty particular - most are low-light lovers, but I've got a couple that are total light hogs, just like my acros. Given its spot in the corner, I think your Favia ...

I'm gonna take a guess here, but I think it might be getting a bit too comfortable in that lower light spot. Maybe try bumping up the light a notch, see if that helps it perk back up.
