I've had mixed results with housing bettas alongside other species. Some of my bettas coexisted just fine with bronze corydoras catfish, but I've had issues with certain bettas and snails, especially the inca variety. Shrimp also didn't always work out.

Fast her for a few days, at least 3, and see how she does. Give her an Epsom salt bath once a day for 4 days, it might help with the bloat. Also, do a 10-25% water change daily for a week or two.

Bettas don't get pregnant, they lay eggs. She might be young or a marble betta, they tend to change ...

They've got some nice ones, I'll give 'em that. I'm more of a fan of my own stuff though.

She appears youthful, and her marble pattern is quite evident. Marbles are known to change colors throughout their lives, and young bettas also go through this process. I must say, she looks incredibly healthy. And I absolutely adore her name!
