The gravel depth is about 1.2 cm, and it's only getting uprooted in one specific spot, which is where the UGF is uncovered.

Honestly, I'm not a fan of it, but it's doable. The tank's just too cramped for the bettas. It's not right for them. Each fish needs around 20-25 litres of space, and with three, it's a tight squeeze.

The worst part is, it keeps exposing the UGF, which is a real pain to deal with.

To better assess the tank's suitability for finfisher's needs, could you please provide the total volume or dimensions of the tank?

I've had my fin_tank Lincoln for two weeks now, got him two weeks ago today. I upgraded him from a 1.3 gallon to a 5 gallon heated and filtered tank last Sunday. Lately I noticed his fin's looking pretty beat up, so I swapped out his plastic plants for silk ones and removed his decorations ...

Hi there and welcome.
First off, just saying your water parameters are fine doesn't give us much to go on - we need actual numbers. Those test strips you're using aren't the most reliable either, I'd recommend switching to a liquid test kit for more accurate readings.
