I put mine in a similar spot as my other corals that are doing well, same medium flow and not too much light, hope that's enough.

I've had one for years, got it from a fellow reefer, and it's still going strong. But I did buy another one and it didn't make it a week, so I think some bubble corals are definitely hardier than others. Not an expert here, but I'm not convinced the high calcium is the problem - could be wrong though.

If you do end up getting a bamboo shark, be sure to show us a few photos - I'd love to see how your tank turns out. Haven't seen you post in a while Andy, hope everything's going well.
