Funny you mention that, mine did the same thing the other night, but in my case, the frogspawn on the opposite side of the rock was also looking a bit off. My elegance is still pretty new to the tank, so it's probably still settling in. It's been eating fine and seems happy otherwise, just suddenly ...

Have you taken a closer look around the base of the coral to see if there's anything going on that might be contributing to its condition?

I've had a few different types of Kryptos in the past - the red ones, the mint greens and most recently, a small frag of the Kryptos. The Kryptos are definitely my favorite so far. They're growing really well, splitting heads in no time. They're great eaters and look amazing.

I've got a 12L as well, and from my experience, new tanks just need time to find their groove. I've found that the whole "sterile" thing tends to fade as the tank matures - a year or so down the line, you'll likely be singing a different tune. Seriously though, try to resist the temptation to ...
