I think getting more discus is the way to go. If you can swing it, try to get at least three around the 5" size. I've got a similar situation with a lone 5" discus in my 60 gallon, and I've recently picked up four 3" ones that I'm quarantining before introducing them to him ...

Got some good sunlight on my tank this afternoon, so I snapped a couple close-ups of my discus. They're about 4" now. I was told they'll take on more of that green shine when they hit 6".

I was also drawn to the green discus because of its natural appearance. It adds a nice touch to my collection, which is mostly made up of other discus. I found a video on Google showing adult green discus parents with their fry from Uncle Sams - it's the closest thing I could find ...

I've been searching for pics of Green Discus. I wanted to see them as adults before buying from Uncle Sams. I bought two, but I'm confused - they're brown, not green. Does anyone know why they're called Green Discus? Do they get greener as adults? I've been looking everywhere for mature Green Discus ...
