My 10-gallon's been death-free for 2 months. Just a single Betta and some snails. Simple setups seem to work best for me. Less to go wrong.

I'm not exactly a betta expert, but I do have a question that's slightly off topic - what about plants in the tank? Specifically, do you have any floating plants that your betta might enjoy? And, as others have already mentioned, I'd definitely advise against adding any other fish, especially ...

What's the difference between red and coloured?

Hey all,
Looking for some coloured plants, either red or otherwise. Need ones that grow straight up and down, not too wide. Thinner leaves a must.
Something similar to Vallisneria Asiatica, but with some colour to 'em.
Any suggestions?

acid of rocks

found a few rocks that caught my eye.
ran the vinegar test and it all checked out.
anything else i should look into or is the acid test pretty conclusive?
if that's all good, i'm assuming they're safe to use once they're cleaned up?
