Who Gives A Fish Forums

Need some advice here, got a free 20 gallon tank and I'm looking for some cichlids that'll thrive in it, plus be pretty active. Was thinking maybe some Rams, but open to other suggestions, and also some tank mate ideas to go with whatever you guys recommend.

Got a free 20 gallon tank and I'm thinkin' of puttin' some cichlids in there that'll be active and fun to watch. Maybe some Rams, I've heard they're pretty cool. Any other recommendations would be great, along with some decent tank mates to go with 'em.

I've had my own experience with a 29-gallon tank and a pair of Kribs - they can get pretty territorial when something enters their space. I think the dwarf gourami will do just fine, though. Adding some danios would be a great idea, too - they're hardy and easy to care for. If you're looking for ...

African cichlids sound cool. I'm looking to stock up on as many as I can.

Honestly, I'm kinda open to anything at this point.

im trying to set up a 30 gallon and i need some ideas on what to stock it with. can anyone suggest some good options?
