Re: cycle complete at 29 gallons
Thanks again for the advice. I'm getting close to introducing my first fish, and I was wondering about the order - should I start with the clowns or the goby? I'm still thinking of waiting a week or two, just to be safe, I don't want to risk losing my first marine fish.

Re: cycle complete at 29 gallons
Thanks for the reply coral8. I knew 30 snails was way overboard, I was just trying to get a feel for what's normal. I'm still on the fence about the CBS or Pistol, I think the symbiosis between the Pistol and Goby would be pretty cool, but the CBS just looks awesome. My wife has fallen in love with ...

Re: Acan bleaching issues and solutions
I've found my acans do better in lower light conditions, they tend to stay closed if it's too bright, especially with just the white LEDs. They do seem to appreciate good flow though.

Re: Acan frag polyps extending: what's the cause and how to encourage it
My experience with acans is they can be quite normal in this behavior, I have 10 frags and they all do this. They're a hungry bunch, always on the lookout for their next meal. Consistent water parameters are key to their health, so I'm glad you got that salinity issue under control.
