I've finally found my perfect white betta after years of searching. Every time I thought I'd found the one, I either got outbid or the breeder wanted an arm and a leg for it. But today, fate was on my side. I stopped by my local Petco to grab some Stress Guard and that's when I saw him - love at first sight. Before I get ahead of myself, I have to give a shoutout to our Petco's Chuck. He's a total fish enthusiast and super knowledgeable. We're lucky to have him, even if he only works three days a week due to his full-time career. The tanks are always spotless, thanks to him. They also had this gorgeous Koi betta that looked like he'd been dipped in glitter - I managed to resist the urge to bring him home too. So, now that I've got my new baby, I need some name suggestions.

Considering your new betta's striking appearance, Whitey or Snowflake seem like fitting names. Alternatively, you could name him after a notable figure like White Cloud, a prominent Native American leader - his story's quite fascinating, by the way.

That's one beautiful betta you got there. I had no idea white bettas existed until I stumbled upon the International Betta Congress and flipped through Flare Magazine. Honestly, that's one stunning fish. You're one lucky person.

How about naming the tank after Chuck or maybe even setting up a little tribute to him in the tank's decor - a small way to show your appreciation for his dedication to the hobby and for helping you find your new pet, Edgar.
