concerns about my new clown career

Hi everyone,

I'm in need of some urgent advice, my tank's only about 4 weeks old and I've had my first fish, a clown, for a week now. Everything's been going smoothly until I got home today and noticed a small white patch just below his eye, near his mouth - it's only on one side, though. He's swimming fine with the other clown, but keeps going off to sit in the corner by himself. I'm about to feed them to see if he'll eat anything.

I have to admit, I'm a bit worried. I tried taking a picture, but it doesn't show up well. I've looked it up and it doesn't seem to be an itch - it's more like a crescent moon shape and it's slightly raised if you look from the front.

My tank's 180 litres, with a pH of 8, salinity's a bit high at 1.027, but nitrites are 0, nitrates are 50, and ammonia's 0.

What could be causing this? I'd really appreciate it if someone could help me out here.

Here's a pic of my BN catfish - does the patch on your clown look anything like this? Mine turned out to be an injury site that healed on its own after a few days, no treatment needed.

Yeah, it does resemble that a bit, I reckon. Maybe he's just bumped into something, who knows. To be honest, as soon as I dropped in the food, he went crazy.

Guessing if he eats alright, there's probably not much to worry about, right.

Just got a quick pic, sorry it's not the best, he's a bit shy and hides whenever I grab the camera.

As you can see, there's this white patch just below his eye, it's a bit raised and looks flaky, like I said before. What do you reckon it could be, guys?
