I've been eyeing this batfish at my local fish store and I'm totally captivated. They're really cool, I've been itching to get one, but I'm having a tough time finding any decent info on 'em...

managed to dig up some info though, looks like they're fish-only, I reckon...

They need massive tanks, and the pinnate is just stunning but honestly a nightmare to keep, I've heard.

Way too large for your setup, mate.

Haven't had personal experience with batfish, but from what I've gathered, they seem to require a pretty specific setup - a 200-gallon non-reef tank, to be exact. Apparently, they can grow up to 24 inches.

some species can hit 24" in height too, so yeah, you're looking at one massive tank.
