My tank's got a bunch of Silver Dollars and they're tearing up my Amazon Swords. Tried feeding more veggies but they still go for the plants. Any tips?

Silver Dollars are notorious for munching on plants. You might wanna try adding more fiber to their diet, like blanched zucchini or spinach. Also, consider tougher plants like Java Fern or Anubias, they're less palatable.

Yep, Silver Dollars are basically underwater goats. I've had luck with floating plants like Duckweed to distract them. They'll go for the easy snacks first.

I second this. Anubias is a solid choice. It's tough and grows slow, so even if they nibble, it won't get destroyed.

What's your tank size? Overcrowding can make them more aggressive towards plants. Also, how often are you feeding them? Might need to up the frequency.

I've heard some folks use Repashy Soilent Green as a supplement. It's got all the greens they need, so they might leave your plants alone.

Have you tried adding more hiding spots? Sometimes, if they're stressed, they'll pick at plants more. Driftwood or rocks can help.

Duckweed is a good idea, but be careful, it can take over your tank fast. Maybe try Frogbit instead.

Bro, just get some plastic plants. No joke, if they're gonna eat everything, might as well go indestructible.

I'd avoid plastic plants. They don't help with water quality. Instead, try adding more protein to their diet. Sometimes, they're just bored and need more variety.
