Introducing the watchman and pistol

I recently got a yellow watchman goby, it's been 4 days now, and I just added a pistol shrimp to the tank today. My pistol shrimp went straight under a rock as soon as I introduced it.

I'm trying not to stress either of them out, so is there a way to introduce them to each other without causing too much stress?

Don't stress about it, nature's got this. They'll find each other when they're ready.

I had a similar experience - introduced a shrimp and two gobies together, but initially, the shrimp ended up on the opposite side of the tank. Took them a month or so, but they eventually paired up.

Given they weren't previously paired, it might take a bit longer, but they can still form a bond.
