A black and white clown

got a pair of black n white clowns, had 'em for bout 4 months, somethin weird happened today what's got me spooked the bigger one (female) suddenly grew a white patch right next to her dorsal fin, then just as quick it changed back to black, twice, anyone know what's goin on? is it some kinda stress thing or what? cheers
