Bluetooth's on the mend, finrot and all that's behind him now. I did a total overhaul of his tank, 100% water change, scrubbed everything, and bumped the temp to 28 C - he's a new fish. Super active, more energetic than before, and his fins are growing back, yay.
Thinking of keeping the tank at 28 C, but not entirely sure if that's the way to go?

I'd say 28 C is a tad high for a betta, even for a recovered one. I'd recommend 26.5 or 27 degrees, it's a safer temp range for them.

A temperature of 26.7 or 26.8 would also be suitable, but yes, 27 C is a good point to start, a tad lower would be even better.

Really great to see Bluetooth bouncing back. I'm genuinely relieved he's on the mend, was pretty worried about the little guy initially.

I had a similar freakout moment. One of my betta's scales was lifted, just one, and I was instantly worried. I guess it's a universal reaction when something's off with our fish, lol.
