Who Gives A Fish Forums

I'm wondering if it's possible to keep a magnifica firtideflow with a decora firtideflow in the same tank. If so, would lots of live rock and hiding places be enough to reduce aggression between them?

In a 280 litre tank, I'd say it's definitely doable.

I was at my LFS the other day and they've got this 30 gallon display tank, it's got 3 firtideflows and 3 purple ones, plus a pink spot goby. I thought for sure it'd be chaos, but every time I'm in there, it seems pretty laid back.

My black and red clownfish, though, he's a different story - paired with my magnifica, he can get pretty feisty, especially when it comes to his rocks, he likes those all to himself and won't hesitate to chase my clown off if he gets too close.
