Is this a good site for fish?

My partner and I are really keen on setting up a marine tank in the future. I've already got my heart set on a Porcupine puffer - I know they can be a bit of a handful, but from what I've read, they're pretty good in a community setup, as long as they've got plenty of space. The thing is, they need a massive tank - at least 400 litres to themselves. My partner's always wanted a marine community tank, so it made sense for us to team up and go for a big one.
We're still in the research phase, but one thing we really need to look into is which marine fish would work well together in terms of size and temperament. Any suggestions would be great. We're also on the hunt for a website or resource that's got info on the different species - size, demeanour, the works - so we can pick and choose the ones we like.
We're thinking of going for a tank that's at least 450-500 litres - maybe bigger if needed - and we're planning to use live rock and a protein skimmer as the filter. We probably won't start with corals, just to keep things simple. Would love any advice or pointers from people who've been there and done it.
