I'm setting up a 20-gallon community tank and want plants that'll keep the vibe chill. Any suggestions for low-maintenance plants that won't mess with my tetras and corys? I've got sand substrate and moderate lighting.

Anubias and Java Fern are solid picks for your setup. They don't need much light, and you can attach 'em to driftwood or rocks. Just avoid burying the rhizome or they'll rot. My tetras love hiding in the leaves.

Yep, those are great. I'd add Cryptocoryne Wendtii too. It's hardy and spreads slow, so you won't be trimming every week. Just watch for the melt when you first plant it.

If you wanna add some color, try Ludwigia Repens. It's easy to grow and turns red under moderate light. My corys dig rooting around its stems. Just give it a trim now and then to keep it bushy.

Dwarf Sagittaria is another good one. It carpets slow but stays short, perfect for a peaceful tank. Mine's been thriving with just root tabs and no CO2. The corys love it.

Second this. Also, consider floating plants like Frogbit. They diffuse light and give shy fish cover. Just thin 'em out if they go wild.

Don't forget moss! Christmas Moss is super chill and gives baby shrimp or fry a place to hide. Just tie it to a mesh or rock and let it do its thing.

I've had luck with Amazon Swords in my community tank. They're big but peaceful fish love 'em. Just need root tabs since sand doesn't have much nutrients.

True, but watch the size. In a 20-gallon, they might take over. Maybe go for a smaller variety like Echinodorus Parviflorus.

Thanks for all the suggestions, folks! Gonna start with Anubias and Frogbit, then maybe add some Crypts later. Appreciate the help.
