I voted no, but I was a yes before. I recently moved my Ocellaris clowns to a 10-gallon to make room for Clarkii clowns in my 90-gallon, and they're not adjusting well to the smaller space.

I believe they can thrive in a smaller tank, at least up to about 3 inches in length. The usual nanotank considerations still apply, though.

I said yes 'cause I had them in a 7 gallon bow for about 2 weeks before upgrading and they were doin' great. Clowns are super adaptable fish and as long as your parameters are on point and you're feedin' 'em well, they'll be alright. But maybe not the absolute best they can be, if you know what I mean.

I voted yes, but I'm not entirely sure what you were getting at with the poll. If it's about keeping a single clownfish, I'd say that's doable. A pair, though, I'm not so sure about.

A single one's probably doable, but I wouldn't risk a pair, just doesn't seem worth it.

I voted yes, I've got an ocellaris in my 10 gallon and it's doing well, seems to be thriving in the smaller space.

You might be able to make do in a small space, but that doesn't mean it's ideal. Just like how you could get by in a tiny apartment, but wouldn't you rather have a big house with plenty of room to breathe? For clowns, a minimum of 30 gallons is really the way to go if you want them to live their best lives.

I agree, they can indeed live in a smaller tank but it's not ideal for their overall well-being.
