Identifying the candy cane coral parasite

I'm seeing these weird white puffy things on my candy cane coral and I have no idea what they are. They're attached to the stalk and just showed up recently. They seem to be growing and multiplying, but I'm not sure what's going on. I'd love to post some pictures, but I'm not sure how to do that here.

I'd be happy to take a stab at it, but a picture would really help. That being said, I'm going to take a guess and say it might be Scypha sponges, also known as pineapple sponges. I've seen them pop up on corals before, and they can grow and multiply pretty quickly. You can check out this link for more info:
http://www.lionfishlair.com/hitchhiker/hitchhiker.shtml - it's got some good pics and descriptions of common hitchhikers, including pineapple sponges.

Managed to figure out the pic posting. Is that a parasite?
