Just got it, flintix9t night, been fav-ing it some time to adjust. Only thing botherin me is the head on the front left's really small and the base seems to have hardly any flesh. Is it alright like that? Thanks for all your help.

Looks alright, give it some time, couple days or so, should settle in fine

Give it some time, usually takes a bit to settle in properly

looking better now, my only concern is the heads on the right, they seem light in color. is this a problem? i don't think they're bleaching, the lfs had them under radions, just pc bulbs.

I've had a similar experience with my gold torch - it lightened in color to pastel yellow after a few days in the tank, but looked healthy otherwise. Months later, it went back to its rich golden color, and I'm still not sure why it lost color in the first place - maybe low nutrients. Given the cyano on your sand bed, I think you've got enough nutrients to help your torch regain its color. One thing I've noticed is when torches are unhealthy, they tend to recede at the base first, just below the head - but your torch looks good, plenty of flesh below the heads.

You're coming from Radions to PC, that's a big change. The torch is likely bleaching due to the difference in lighting power. PC might be sufficient for the torch, but it'll take some time for it to adjust to the new conditions.

Side note, you might want to consider upping the flow in your tank, or look into a red slime remover to help clear out that cyano bacteria.
