Who Gives A Fish Forums

Currently I've got a Percula 90 Marine tank, 275 litres or 73 gallons, that's been up and running for the past 2 years. However, with our emigration from SE England to Australia in January, I'll have to part ways with the fish, corals, rock, and the like.

I'm open to reasonable offers for the following:

3 Clown Anemone fish (Percula), all in great condition.
3 Blue (yellow-tailed) Damsels, a lovely bunch.
3 Green Chromis, always a pleasure to watch.
2 Pyjama Cardinalfish, a pair of beauties.
1 Bengali Cardinalfish, a stunner.
A Six-lined Wrasse, quite the character.
Bicolor Blennie, Yellow Goby, Fox Face, Yellow Tang, Regal Tang, Royal Gramma, and an Eibli Angel - all in excellent health.

I've also got 2 Cleaner shrimps and 1 Dancing shrimp, both doing their job well.

There's a fairly large Anemone that the clowns just love, and various corals that are thriving.

In addition, I've got 3 Blue-banded Hermit crabs, 10+ Red leg Hermit crabs, 10+ Green leg Hermit crabs, and 30+ snails, all in good condition.

Approximately 80KG of live rock is also available.

I'm interested in some of the livestock, unfortunately I live a bit too far away to collect, would you consider posting any of the fish or inverts?

I'm not entirely sure how to go about posting livestock, to be honest. The cost is also a mystery to me, I'm afraid. If you're genuinely interested in several items, it might be worth looking into, but I'm not sure where to start. Does anyone have any experience with this sort of thing?

Normally, you'd send livestock via first class special delivery or Parcel Force 24 - gotta be next day delivery, no question. You'd use a water/airtight fish bag with some air at the top, pop it in a polystyrene box with some scrunched up newspapers and maybe a heat pack to keep things warm and prevent water temp drops. From what I've seen, it usually costs around 7 or 8 quid to send. I've not personally posted livestock before, but I've had fish and stuff posted to me from eBay sellers using this method, so it seems to work alright.

I'll make some enquires over the next couple of days and see what's available. What catches your eye from the list I've got?

I'd be keen on the Bengali Cardinal and the Six Line Wrasse, plus the cleaner shrimp. What sizes are the fish?

You might want to check out ebay, in the fish and corals sections, to see how others post out livestock. That should give you an idea of what's involved.

A dancing shrimp is a type of shrimp that's known for its interesting movement, and as for the anemone, it's a fairly large one that my clowns love, but I'm not entirely sure of the exact species, I've just always referred to it as a 'large anemone'

I'm fairly certain a dancing shrimp is also known as a Sexy Shrimp, they're pretty small but quite entertaining to watch.
