hey all, just curious about breeding habits of african butterfly fish and common bichir - anyone had success with either of these species, or know which one's more willing to breed?

African butterfly fish are relatively straightforward when it comes to sexing, as males are easily distinguishable by the long filaments on their anal fin. On the other hand, common bichirs can be more challenging to sex. While I'm not aware of any specific breeding methods, I do know that bichirs are being successfully bred in Asia, so it's just a case of uncovering the secrets behind their breeding techniques.
