It looks pretty upset lol. Did you just turn the lights on? That zoa's kinda close, don't you think?

Zoa placement is just temp for now. Lights were off till recently, and it's come back out but the tentacles seem kinda limp. Maybe it's just having an off day lol

I've had my torch in the tank for a bit now. Moved it around a few times to get the placement just right. I've noticed with mine, the tentacles get longer and thinner in moderate flow, but fatter and shorter in low flow. Yours looks a bit stressed in the pic, dunjax.

My torch in moderate flow. Tentacles were way shorter in low flow, and to be honest, the coral just didn't seem as happy when the flow was low.

He's in medium flow, about halfway up the tank. Been there for a month now, always fully extended. Maybe just having an off day, who knows.

I think the whole Zoa takeover thing is a bit much. Non-colorful palys, though, they can be a real pain. Typically, if it's got great colors, it's not invasive - we just wish it was, lol.

I run my euphylia low in the tank, good flow. What's your lighting setup like?

I'm running T5 HO with ATI bulbs - 2 B+, 1 C+, 1 P+. Totaling 156 watts over my 65 gallon tall tank. The torch is about 18 inches under the bulbs.

Honestly, I think you gotta give euphyllias a few days to look off before stressing about it.

Make sure your water parameters are on point, as any fluctuations could be causing your torch's unusual appearance.
