My green heliofungia's been spitting out this weird brownish goo from its mouth - anyone know what it is

Likely zooxanthella expulsion, which isn't a great sign - you'll want to figure out what's stressing it out. Was there a recent change that might've triggered this?

Honestly, it seems like normal waste to me. The coral is just expelling digested food, which often looks like brown goo, and it's coming out the same way it went in.

Added some new LEDs to my quad T5, and did a water change recently. It's not stringy, more like a couple clumps, but I figured it was just poop since the heliofungia looks great now.
