identifying the origin of a jaw bone

A mate of mine's just got back from Dubai and picked up this weird jawbone on holiday - thinks it's from a fish or something.

There's this small break, kinda like on a puffer or trigger fish, all serrated and that, and then these long bony spikes on top and bottom that can move around.

Anyone got a clue what sort of fish this could be from?

P.S. Sorry if this is in the wrong place, but figured this was the best spot to ask.

Need a pic of the jaw bone to try and figure out what species it is.

Having a bit of trouble figuring out how to add photos with the new setup, could do with some assistance. I'm not using any external hosting sites like Photo Bucket, and I recall being able to upload pics directly before the change.

Still having no luck finding the upload option, so I've just added the pic to my profile picture for now...
