Hey guys, just wondering how you would rate this plakat.

I'm a bit unsure about his rounded anal fin - is that normal? And what about his curled ventflake fins, any thoughts? Would love to hear from established breeders and enthusiasts, any opinion is welcomed.

Still waiting for some feedback on this plakat - anyone have thoughts on his quality, particularly in regards to breeding?

Hi, welcome to the forum. I'm a bit late to the conversation, but I don't usually breed Bettas, so I wasn't sure I had much to offer. Nickau would've been the perfect person to ask, but unfortunately, he's no longer around - the moderators didn't take too kindly to his sense of humor, which was a shame, as everyone else seemed to enjoy it.

There are a few experienced Betta keepers on here who might be able to provide more valuable insights. As for me, I think your fish looks great - the color is really nice, and I think it could make a good parent.

I think he's lovely, really nice color. Not an expert, but I do have experience with seveflake males.
