Who Gives A Fish Forums

I just picked up my first couple of corals and I'm curious about placement. Can I just put them right in the gravel or sand, or is it better to squeeze them between some rocks? I think that's where they'd do best. I've got a pearl coral and another one that's a mystery - it's a beginner-friendly coral with small brown polyps. Got a great deal on them, just $10 for the pair.
