I'm curious about keeping a bottom feeder with peacocks - would it thrive? Anyone have experience with this combo in their tank?

You're referring to peacock cichlids, I assume, or maybe peacock gudgeons?

If you're referring to the Aulonocara species, I've had success keeping catfish with my peacocks. For a compatible bottom feeder, I'd recommend Synodontis multipunctatus or S. petricola, both of which are native to Lake Tanganyika and coexist well with peacock cichlids.

Those are bottom-dwellers too, aren't they?
