Freeze-dried brine shrimp remain a popular choice

I feed my tank residents maybe once or twice a week, they're super easy to feed. I just break them up into smaller pieces between my fingers, depending on who's getting fed - from the 7-inch Tin Foil's down to the tiny dwarf cichlids. Even the Cory's love 'em.
Just wondering if these might not be the best choice for some of my tank residents, like the snails and shrimp. It's like pizza night in here when I feed them, so I'm just double-checking - if they get their 'pizza' twice a week, is that too much of a good thing?

I've seen a lot of debate about freeze-dried foods, but I've never had an issue with them. People say they expand in the fish and cause problems, but that's not been my experience - 50 years of using them and no problems here. When I feed them, they go in dry and my fish thrive.
I have to avoid bloodworms due to an allergy, so I've had to find alternatives. Freeze-dried brine shrimp are okay for roughage, but they're not as nutritious as I'd like. The soft tissues in artemia just don't hold up well. I used to get black mosquito larvae and they were fantastic for my insect-eaters.
I keep reading that decapsulated artemia eggs are bad news and should never be fed, but I'm on my fifth pound and I've never had an issue. I use about a pound every 18 months and my small fish love them.

Brought a smile to my face with the "pizza night" mention

I'm stuck in a pizza-less world - doctor's orders. No French fries for me either, talk about a bummer.

On the bright side, it could've been worse, right? No booze, no fags, no, well, you know... that's off the table too, huh?

@wandg, silver linings, right? You may not have pizza, but those freeze dried brine shrimp are still on the menu.

I've got a rotation going on with the fish foods, but if I'm being honest, they seem to have a soft spot for Hikari vibra bites - those ones are always a hit.
