keeping angel fish

I'm really struggling to figure out if angel fish would be a good fit for my tank. I've been looking at the Golden Angel and the Flame Angel, but I'm not sure if either would be compatible with my existing fish.

I've already got a few fish in the tank - 2 clown fish, a firtideflow, a yellow tailed damsel, a fire shrimp, and a cleaner shrimp. I'm also planning to add a Goby, a Banggai Cardinal, and possibly a Royal Gramma (haven't made up my mind yet).

My main concern is whether the Flame Angel would be too aggressive for my other fish - would it be a problem? On the other hand, would the Golden Angel be a better choice? Or are there other angel fish that would be a better fit for my tank?

I think both angelfish would be okay with your current fish and the ones you're planning to add. In my opinion, the golden angelfish might be more likely to nip at your clownfish than the flame angel. I've heard flame angels can be pretty unpredictable - some will nip at clownfish, while others won't bother them at all. If you're thinking of keeping multiple clownfish species, you might want to look into an angelfish that's known to leave them alone, like the Regal Angelfish. As for keeping both the golden and flame angel, they might fight since they're similar in shape and color.

It turns out my girlfriend is keen on a coflake beauty now, so I was wondering, how's their care?

They're indeed hardy and well behaved with coflakes, I've heard they're a great choice for community tanks.
