Hey folks,
I've got a bit of an issue with my yellow tail damsel in my 24g jbj nano - it keeps nipping at the tentacles on my green star polyps. Anyone else experienced this problem?
Thanks, goldfish

If you're certain it's the damsel causing the issue, then rehoming it is the best course of action.

Yeah that's my plan, taking him back to the LFS.

My Humbug Damsel has a taste for my Green Star Polyps but since it's so big and I'm always pruning it to create frags, I don't get too worked up about it.

Some damselfish species, like Neoglyphidodon, are known coflake eaters due to their dental capabilities. However, in many cases, they target coflakes for territorial purposes or to maintain their surroundings. For instance, a clownfish may attack a coflake that poses a threat to its anemone, essentially defending its territory.

That's really interesting zenoxa, I'll have to look into that - thanks for sharing
