I'm not really feeling the Cabomba Carolinkento4a in my 20g.
Need some suggestions on a good filler plant that'd look nice in there.
By filler, I mean something that'll take up space and look good.
Any other plant ideas are welcome too.

Honestly, I'm not sure what you mean by "filler plants" - if you have a lot of plants, they'll all take up space, right?

First, you need to decide if you want them planted, floating or attached to driftwood. I think Anubias looks really nice when tied to driftwood.

Then, think about where you want to put them - background, front or middle of the tank? Vallisneria's a good one for the background.

I'm a fan of floating plants like Hornworts, Anacharis Elodea, and Cabomba - they can create this really cool jungle look if you let them grow, and they grow fast. Plus, I like that I don't have to plant them, I can just leave them anywhere in the tank and they'll do their thing.

I found some articles that might help - there's this one on the "20 Best Low-Light Plants For Aquariums" and another on the "10 Best Background Plants for Beginner Freshwater Aquariums". Also, check out "Top 5 Midground Plants to Achieve Balance in a Planted Aquarium" - it's got some good tips on creating a balanced look.

Crypts are a great choice, they don't grow out of control and have a nice appearance. This is based on about 2 years of growth, they're a good option to consider.

I think Hygrophila polysperma could work well as a filler plant, it's pretty versatile and can grow in different lighting conditions.

Honestly, is this the tank you've entered into the competition? Vallisneria would be a great addition, it'd look lovely in there. If you bunch your Cabomba into little groups of 3 or so, that'd be nice too. But to be honest, I think it looks great as it is, just keep trimming and replanting, it'll fill in nicely.

Water Sprite is a great option, it can thrive both as a floating plant and when planted in the substrate.

I've had them for a couple of years now, and they've been great - they just chill and look nice...

I've already got Water Sprite, thanks for the suggestion though. It's actually really versatile - I've got some planted in the substrate and it grows into this nice, full shape.
