I've read mixed reviews about these fish too, some say they're fine solo but others claim they thrive in groups. I was thinking of adding 5, what's everyone's experience with this?

Hi Mark,

I've come across mixed reviews as well. From what I've gathered about these fish, they seem to do alright in small groups, despite some being described as aggressive. I'm not entirely sure if this aggression is specifically towards their own kind or other fish. My personal experience with a blue damsel, which is supposedly semi-aggressive and territorial, has been nothing but positive - it's been perfectly peaceful with all its tank mates. Given sufficient tank space and ample hiding spots, I think a group of 3 to 5 could work out fine. They're also considered reef safe, which is a plus. What's the size of your tank, by the way?

Hope that helps a bit.
