I've been offered a couple of fish - yellow saloushi and tursio moor. Problem is, I'm having no luck finding info on the saloushi. Anyone got a link they can share?
My tanks are 12" deep, 4 foot long and 16" wide. Would these fish be happy in them?

Try searching for Saulosi instead, that's probably what you're looking for with the yellow saloushi.

You might want to try
www.cichlid-forum.com, they've got a pretty good collection of cichlid info.

Thanks for the help. Now, I'm curious about the tank size. Would my 12" deep, 4 foot long, 16" wide tanks be suitable for breeding these fish, or are they too small?

They're likely to be mouth brooders, both of them.

Would they be okay with mouth brooding in a tank of that size, specifically 4 ft long, 12 inches high, and 16 inches wide?

The Moorii or Dolphins will outgrow your tank, to be honest. As Malawis go, neither are in high demand, but have you thought about what you'll do with hundreds of fry from them?

The Saulosi will likely be in high demand due to their smaller size, making them suitable for smaller tanks, such as 3ft ones, and thus opening up the world of Malawis to a wider range of aquarists. On the other hand, the Moori's unique appearance sets them apart from other Malawis, contributing to their popularity.
As for your tank, it should be fine for the Moori initially.
