Struggling to raise octospawn.

I just got my first coral, a green with purple tip frogspawn, and I've been doing my research nonstop. I stumbled upon the octospawn and I was hooked. Been searching everywhere for one, but I got duped - bought one that was just a different colored frogspawn. Still, it's a cool color, so I'm not complaining. Then I found an orange octospawn online, messaged the guy a bunch, asking for tons of pics to make sure it was legit. Finally found the real deal, but the price was steep - $60 plus $39.99 shipping. Told him I'd love to buy it, but my gf would lose it if I spent $100 on one head of coral. Next thing I know, he's offering me a deal - the orange octospawn, a neon green octospawn, and a zoanthid frag for my gf. I couldn't pass it up, so I bought it. Got the corals today, and the FedEx box was soaked. The orange octospawn and zoanthids are okay, but the neon green octospawn is a different story - it's dry, and there's a lot of skeleton showing. Trying to stay positive, so I acclimated it and threw it in the tank. The guy emailed me, said not to worry, he'll make it right. Still hoping I can nurse the green octospawn back to health. Pics attached.

Its been about 5 hours since the neon green octospawn went in the tank and I gotta say, its looking like its gonna make it. This is my first coral thats come in rough shape so Im really hoping I can turn it around. I think with some good water, lighting and food, itll be alright. Ill keep posting pics as it comes along.

I'm rooting for it, really hoping it pulls through. Been eyeing an octospawn myself for a while now, would be a great addition to my own euphyllia collection.

I'm keeping my fingers crossed. The neon green one's in pretty rough shape, but I'm gonna give it my all to nurse it back to health. Guess we'll just have to wait and see how it goes.

Looking way better today, had to take it easy on the coral with 2 bulbs off and the wave pump off. Still a bit of work to do but its a great start, ill try and get some better pics without my wispy wasp fish photobombing lol

My octospawn corals are doing alright, the green one's actually showing some good progress from day one. Moved them closer to the middle of the tank, figured they'd do better with more light and moderate flow.

I'm really hoping it makes it. Got my fingers crossed, the neon green one's in rough shape. Only time will tell, but I'm gonna do everything I can to nurse it back to health.

Yeah, I'm pretty surprised too. Got it in some water just in time, I think. Each day's been a noticeable improvement.

corals can be pretty resilient, i think. they're used to dealing with being exposed to air and direct sunlight in shallow water reefs from tides. some even handle temp fluctuations from being in tidal pools that heat up during the day.
