Do planted tanks always need aquarium plant fertilizer?

I've found a great fertilizer for my aquarium plants - ThriveC. My tank has plenty of nitrates, but I still need other nutrients for healthy plant growth. ThriveC is perfect for my situation, with lower nitrate levels.

Anubias grows in shaded streams in west Africa, I've seen vids of it growing underwater, at least where the bank's rocky or has roots, not in the sand. The water's fast-moving and crystal clear. Pollination and seed production, though, are strictly for land-growing Anubias on the banks. It's a slow grower in low-tech setups, but I've seen big plants in low-tech aquariums with very bright lights, like double shop light LEDs.

If you stick to hardy plants, you can have nice plants with minimal work. It's the fussy ones you want to avoid. Crypts and Swords are great, and for stem plants, Bacopa and Water Wisteria are hardy. There are many more, just check out vids on beginner plants on YouTube.
