A significant water change with cooler water may also be beneficial. I'd advise against dropping the temperature below 82 for an extended period, though.

Thanks Liz, I appreciate the tip. A large water change with cooler water might just do the trick, I'll definitely give it a shot.

I did watch the video, and I have to say, those strong bars in the video and photos catch my eye. In my experience with wild discus, strong bars usually mean something's bothering them. Viktor, do your fish always display such prominent bars?

I've observed that a bonded pair usually exhibits certain behaviors, like bowing to each other. They just seem to have that special connection. In your case, the discus aren't displaying those telltale signs of a mated pair, which makes me think it might be two males.
