Nerites are the way to go. They're low-key and get the job done. Just don't expect them to clean up overnight—they work slow but steady. And yeah, more water changes never hurt.

I've had success with a mix of Nerites and Amanos. The shrimp are fun to watch, and the snails handle the glass. Just make sure your tank's got plenty of hiding spots for the shrimp. Driftwood and dense plants help a lot.

Honestly, I'd skip the algae eaters and just adjust your lighting. Too much light is usually the culprit. I cut my photoperiod from 10 to 6 hours, and the algae cleared up in a week. Sometimes the simplest fix is the best.

That's a good point. I had the same issue, and reducing the light made a huge difference. But I still like having a few Nerites around for maintenance.
