My danios dig the Java Moss. It's like a jungle gym for them, and it's impossible to kill.

If you're going for a natural look, consider adding some driftwood with the Anubias. It creates a nice focal point and gives the danios more swimming paths.

Java Moss is great, but it can get messy if it starts shedding. Regular trimming keeps it in check.

Another tip, if you're using Vallisneria, make sure your tank lid is secure. That stuff grows fast and can push it open if you're not careful.

I've also found that danios seem to prefer tanks with some open swimming space. Don't overcrowd the plants, or they might get stressed.

True that. My danios go nuts when there's too much stuff in the way. Keep it balanced.
