Make sure your tank is well-cycled before adding Discus. They're sensitive to ammonia and nitrite. Maybe run the filter with your current stock for a few more weeks to build up bacteria.

I've heard Discus are sketchy with new setups. Maybe add some driftwood or plants to help with stress. Just avoid sharp edges. What's your lighting like? They prefer dimmer tanks.

Fluval 307 should handle it, but keep an eye on flow. Discus don't like strong currents. For hard water, consider mixing RO or using a softening pillow in your filter. Tankmates should be peaceful and prefer similar temps.
