My cat loves watching me trim the plants. She thinks it's a game! But yeah, trimming's the best bet. Just don't go overboard or you'll shock the plants.

Systematic removal is most effective. Target the oldest growth first, as it's least productive. This encourages the plant to focus energy on new, healthier leaves.

One more thing, Lion. Keep an eye on your fish after trimming. Some species get stressed by sudden changes in the environment. If they act weird, dim the lights for a day or two.
