Tetras are pretty chill with low flow, so tweaking the filter sounds like a good plan. Let us know how the water tests go!

If the cloudiness sticks around for more than a week, consider adding a polishing pad to your filter. Works wonders for fine particles.

Also, avoid cleaning the filter media too aggressively. You wanna keep the beneficial bacteria. Just rinse it in tank water during changes.

Exactly! Murdering your cycle is a rookie mistake. Patience is key with new tanks.
