I'd say all acans "encrust" if you put them on a rock, but I guess it all depends on how you define encrusting. As for the OP's request for 'short sweepers', I'm assuming they want non-aggressive corals. I wouldn't call any acans non-aggressive, though. If there are peaceful corals nearby, they'll take them out.

Cyphastrea corals are solid choices, they do well in a variety of lighting conditions. However, in my experience, they tend to come out on the losing end of territory disputes.
