Who Gives A Fish Forums

I have found Labroides dimidiatus to be quite accepting of food in captivity, roughly 50% of the time. My experience with owning three has shown that two of them took to food - specifically, mysis and brine - without any issues.

I'm having trouble understanding the point of this thread, to be honest. I mean, what's the main idea here?

I've had three Labroides dimidiatus, and all of them took to flake food straight away. It's odd, because the literature suggests they're tricky to feed, but from my experience and that of others in the UK, it doesn't seem to be the case. The real issue I've found is that they can be a bit of a nuisance to the other fish.

well if by pestering you mean they clean the other fish then its actually a good thing.

I'm just gonna leave this to go. It looks like a good debate on how hard cleaner wrasse are to keep. I've never kept tropical saltwater fish in my life, but I have kept estuarine species.
