Hi, I'm so worried I made a mistake buying the kribs, I adore my corydoras. It's really frustrating, can't we just get the right information about fish before we buy them? I feel like I've let my corries down, I was trying to do what's best for them. I've had them for ages and they're such lovely fish. I just hope the kribs don't cause any problems for them. It's all so confusing, I just want to keep my fish happy and healthy.

On a separate note, congrats on the new additions, lovely to see you've taken the plunge and given them a home.
No, I don't have keyholes, just the kribs and I'm really regretting buying them now. I love my cories and I'm worried about them. Is it really that hard to get the right information on fish before you buy them? It feels like I'm getting different advice from every different place I look and it's really frustrating.

I've had experience with Kribs in the past and now I keep Keyholes, I gotta say Keyholes are definitely the more laid back of the two, James.

Hi, was just thinking, what if I move their cave to a fry tank when they have eggs waiting to hatch, then replace it with another coconut in the main tank? Would that work, just keep repeating the process? I'm hoping I've got this right, they only get aggressive when they have eggs and even worse after they've hatched - sounds a bit like chickens, doesn't it? Would this plan keep my other fish safe, I've had most of them for a couple of years, except the corys? If not, I suppose it's back to the LFS for them.

I think it's not a good idea as the difference between tanks can be fatal for the eggs and they might even eat them due to the change. In my experience, the kribs will just chase your fish away, they won't attack them straight away. Mine are spawning and they're chasing the fish when they get near the cave, but so far they haven't attacked the others, even my mollie which is really annoying them. Although my male krib really doesn't like my albino plec. I'd just leave them be and let nature take its course if I were you.
