Water's too hard when you're struggling to get to your fish, it's like trying to cut through a brick wall, not exactly ideal for your aquatic friends.

I gave mine a whack and it shattered. Guess that means it's hard enough for the Mbuna, they seem pretty happy with it.

what's the glass or the water, right? sometimes it's so clear i'm not even sure what i'm looking at lol... floriks said cutting through with a saw, but i'd say if you need chuck norris to break through, that's when you know your water's hard
