I've been using the Python for my bigger tanks - 20 and 55 gallons. The gravel vac works great. I do use the water fill feature but only during the warmer months since the water from the outside connection is too cold the rest of the year. I don't have an inside tap that the Python can connect to, so I'm stuck carrying buckets - which is good exercise, but it's a lot of time and usually ends up with water all over the floor.

Just used my new python for the first time and I'm really pleased with the results. Thanks to everyone on TFF for the positive feedback - it definitely influenced my decision to buy. One minor issue I encountered is the distance between my tank and the nearest faucet, which is 28 feet. Unfortunately, that meant I had to spring for the 50-foot model, as the 25-foot one wouldn't have been long enough.

I actually got a 50 ft one by mistake when I ordered the 25 ft version from Amazon.
